Discuss/Rate Batman & Robin

There's really no excuse for this film.

It's about on par with Catwoman.

I will say that the rap it gets as the worst superhero film ever made isn't deserved... Elektra and Punisher are a lot worse.

However, it is a prime example of what happens when franchises go bad.

It's definitely worse than Superman IV.

when i was younger i loved this movie just because I was hyped Batgirl was in it. If it was done in the style of the first two, the movie would of been better, but the story was in more of the tone the cartoon series was. I say it's excellent for the younger viewers as far as visuals go, but for adult audiance lacking greatly

Have you seen the Batman cartoon series? Because it has absolutely nothing in common with this.

I remember seeing all of the older Batman flicks, it's just been a really long time, but this one definitely sticks out like a sore thumb.

I'll give it a 2, but no more. Because Chris O'Donell is actually a great choice for Robin, no matter his acting skills.

I feel bad for it too.

Still not the worst superhero movie ever made though.

What would you guys peg as the worst?

I'm not sure which I'd go with... it's a tight race between Elektra and Punisher.

Captain America is bad... but it has its quirky pleasures.

I've never seen Roger Corman's Fantastic Four, but Tay's review of it leads me to believe that even it migh have SOME merit.

Punisher is guilty pleasure for the gore fanatic in me. Always love a good blooy violent revenge flick.

Maybe Catwoman, though I purposely never watched it, I'm sure it's terrible.

Are you talking about the Thomas Jane Punisher or the Dolph one?

I was talking about the Thomas Jane one and should have clarified.

Anyway.. is the Thomas Jane one REALLY that gorey? I don't think it is.

Yeah, I was talking about the Thomas Jane one. It's not REALLY gorey, but it had enough violence to satisfy me.

Never seen the Dolph one, though.

Yes, i have the animated series on DVD. I think alot is in common, and even more is in common when you look at the Batman series that deals with the future. Especialy the plots, the plots are simple and no twists

I'm sure that there are worse superhero movies out there, but since I've never bothered to see Electra or The Punisher, this is the worst one that I've seen.

I'd even rate Supergirl above Batman and Robin, simply for Helen Slater in spandex.

This movie was horrible. Blatantly underwritten by the United Black Light Producers Corporation, it featured the worst possible casting of Batman and the only actor worth watching in the film was unconcious for most of it.

"Chicks dig the car."

When even the Batmobile is no longer cool, you're out your depth.

Cheesy and pointless. I'll give it a 2 just because it's about Batman and features Bane. I really think they should have went the comic book way and made this very dark, with Bane breaking Batmans back in the end, killing the dark knight.

And I feel Punisher is the worst superhero film, just because it didn't take itself serious. I wanted a dark, serious film. Otherwise, I'd say Spiderman. Ugh, I hate Spiderman.

It's not quite deserving of a 1. But it's close.

I am gonna have to agree with you Luth.

This flick is painful.

However it is more deserving of a negative number in a rating poll...and not a positive one.

BTW- I totally agree that it is the worst big budget superhero flick of all time.

Horrible doesn't begin to describe this movie.

I actually reward "Batman & Robin" no points....

and may God have mercy on it's soul.

Rating:

No Points.
