Pepsi Max / C2

Anyone try the new version of coca-cola yet? I'm not sure if it's available in America, but they've got Pepsi Max across the pond. I had some, and can say that it tastes a lot like GERD. That's not an exaggeration, I honestly thought that's what it tasted like.

I'm hoping that C2 won't be as bad, but the Pepsi fiasco has made me cautious.

I just googled to find that we Yanks call it Pepsi Edge. That still doesn't help the GERDness.

Have tried C2, haven't seen Pepsi Max in Texas.

C2 is ok. I don't like regular coke though so I'm no judge.

Just drink diet.

I drink regular, never diet. But I like to try the new fangled drinks Pepsi and Coca-Cola spring on us.

I still miss Crystal Clear Pepsi.

Pepsi Max has been available for nearly 10 years now in the UK. It actually tastes better than regular Pepsi (as long as it's ice cold, at room temperature it's disgusting but then so are most soft drinks)

This Coke C2 I remember an old thread about it but what's so special about it? We don't have that yet, hell we only got Vanilla Coke last year.

Oh jeez. I remember now. One of our main chocolate companies is releasing low-carb versions of some of their candy bars later this year.

For the record Pepsi Max isn't low carbs, it's just sugar free. Didn't Marty drink the US equivalent in BTTF?

I thought this C2 thing was supposed to be sorta like Pepsi One... sort of a halfway point between Diet and Regular.

Pepsi Edge and C2 are all the same idea. 1/2 the sugar (thus 1/2 the carbs), same great taste.

Pepsi One is for those dieters in the stone age who still think that counting calories matters.

Pepsi Max does appear to be Pepsi Free, for some reason it survived over in the UK.

I've tried it. I hate reglaur soda, and only drink diet... the new C2 is gross to me... no point... but it doesn't taste as bad as reglar nor as good as diet.
