Cinema Blend's Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Death Pool
Yes, we know its kind of morbid but lets face it, Rowling confirmed that the grim reaper will be visiting more than one of the main characters at some point in book 7. May as well make the best of it with a bit of guessing and speculation!
Place your bets on which characters will bite it. The poster(s) with the highest point score once the book is released and the actual death toll is revealed, wins. The winner(s) will receive the first ever Cinema Blend Grim Reaper Award (which might include a snazzy banner for your signature and of course, bragging rights).
Here's how the pool works.
Everyone starts out with 100 points to "spend." Below is a list of the characters categorized by their point value.
Select your characters but please note that you can not collect characters who total more than 100 points, so choose wisely. You are responsible for making sure your characters are worth 100 points or less. Anyone with a list that totals more than 100 points (after the pool deadline) will be disqualified.
Edit your list as many times as you want but the deadline for edits and entries is Thursday, July 19, 2007 *see update posted at the bottom of this thread.

Another Hogwarts Student - not already listed, must be specifically named AND must be currently enrolled at Hogwarts as a student as of book 7. If they die over the summer before term starts, that counts. Students pulled out of Hogwarts by their parents (eg. Hannah Abbot, The Patil Twins, etc) DO count as "hogwarts students" and are worth 25 points as long as they are Harry's age or younger (meaning they'd still be in school if not for Voldemort). Hogwarts graduates - eg. Lee Jordan, Angelina Johnson, etc - as of the end of book 6 fall under "other characters" if not already listed by name in this pool and are worth 10 points.
