Bowling For Box Office - The Dark Knight edition

The Dark Knight, Space Chimps, and Mamma Mia! open this weekend. Only one of these movies matters. If you don't know which one it is, you probably have no chance at winning this game.

So, just ONE question this week. Here it is:

HOW MUCH MONEY WILL THE DARK KNIGHT MAKE OPENING WEEKEND, FRIDAY - SUNDAY?

I'll go with $158. I think that whole "How did this movie ever get a PG-13 rating?" thing will keep families away.

If my mom or dad tried to keep me away from this movie when I was a kid, I would have called family and children services.

Dark Knight should approximately make:

$160,356,470. dollars and 33 cents.

However, I think Space Chimps is gonna win the box office this coming weekend, though.

169 million.

Oh, and a quiet "damn you all" for living on the East coast and taking all the good numbers before I was even out of bed.

Gah - and link posts a mere mil away from me while I was thinking. And I'm with you on the east coast bias.

Get out of bed earlier.

I wish I could be there opening night, but I'm getting my other eye done Thursday, and there would be too much fluctuation of my vision and I'd probably get a headache.
