Bruno - discuss it

Bruno is the third of the three characters originated by Cohen on his old HBO series IDa Ali GI show. Hes not only flamboyantly gay hes also Austrian, which allows for more than this movies fair share of Hitler jokes. Except perhaps its not even fair to call him flamboyantly gay, to do so implies that flamboyantly gay people are a lot less fun to hang out with than they are. ... READ THE FULL REVIEW

Discuss the movie and the review below.

The excitement over this movie seems... non-existent.

Good.

How Bruno Incited The Cage Match Attack

The last scene, like the others, is a crock of shit.

I am utterly shocked that this movie is getting such rave reviews. 75% at RT. Unbelievable.

I have no interest in seeing this movie at all. I am sorry if I don't post in here about what I think about this. I just don't think this "Type of humor" is funny what so ever.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

Yeah, there are definitely a few laughs. Not much else. Borat had more laughs and more else.

Brüno was ok. I agree with Josh here...Borat was funnier. I felt like the "staged" aspect of the movie was so obvious that it killed a lot of the fun.

Well to be honest, I haven't gotten out to the theatre that much. I had plans to see Public Enemies, Transformers 2, Harry Potter, Hurt Locker and 500 Days of Summer but I've not seen one of them. Kind of sad actually since the semester starts soon. I really need to hop to it before that happens or I'll really be missing some movies.
