So....quite the ep Wednesday night. Aptly titled "The Big Lie".

I've been thinking for a couple of days now about Jon's big lie. As soon as he asked his buddy "how's Grandma?" I KNEW he was up to something. I wasn't too surprised he'd sink so low either. What I can't decide is whether it was worth it or not. What did he gain...a night on the beach with his buddy and the sympathy of the rest of the tribe. Did it really do much to improve his place in the game? Maybe. He could have been sent packing that night if they weren't all feeling sorry for him.

The other big lie was by Sandra who allowed Christa to take the blame for the fish being dumped. Now anyone who's lived with Sandra for 30 days should realize that she's the most hot-headed and most likely person to have dumped those fish out of the anger that Rupert was voted off. I can't believe they were so blinded by her argument with Jon that they never even considered her as the culprit. I thought it was very low of her to let Christa take all that heat. I felt really bad for Christa.

So...does anyone else think it was a HUGE mistake for them to keep Burton over Tijuana? I just can't see what the benefit was for them to keep Burton! He might just keep on winning the immunities and beat them all.


The rumor on the internet is that Darrah makes it all the way to the end. I wonder if it somehow comes down to her and Jon and people give it to her because they hate Jon. That would suck.

I think a lot of the younger folk LIKE John. Only the older ones do.

And yeah.. stupid of them to keep Burton. They blew it there.

Very stupid..i still don't understand WHY they choose to believe him. Because he promised on his Grandmother? After all the times he's lied and screwed them..i dunno..just seemed real stupid of them. Sandra and Christa shoulda worked to get rid of burton, jon and Lil and have them be the last 4 and go from there. I can see Jon winning because even though he's a little weasel, he is playing the game. it's all for money after all. (though if i was his g'ma i'd be mighty pissed).

At this point, i don't even care who wins. All my favorites are gone..let em box it out for all i care.

But John is so TRANSPARENT and STUPID. I don't even understand why his little games work. He's so blatant and obvious yet everyone keeps falling for his crap.

Because reality TV people by definition are unbelievably stupid.

I LOATHE Jon. I so want to see Rupert coldcock him at the reunion show. I want to see Sandra gut him with a piece of dull bamboo....
