Kudrow Keeps Busy with FOX Pilot

It looks like Lisa Kudrow won't have much trouble occupying her time when "Friends" goes off the air in May.
The actress recently signed a deal to executive produce a sitcom for CBS, and she's also planning to do some voice-over work on an animated pilot at FOX.

She'll give voice to a mother whose family's life is upheaved when an uncle moves in, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The untitled pilot presentation comes from Jonathan Katz and Tom Snyder, who co-created "Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist" for Comedy Central.


Kudrow, who won an Emmy for playing the daffy Phoebe Buffay on "Friends" in 1998 and has been nominated five other times, has done a fair amount of voice work during her career, including a guest shot on "Dr. Katz." She's also voiced characters on "The Simpsons," "King of the Hill" and the Disney series "Hercules."
The CBS project, which stars "Friends" recurring player Aisha Tyler, is from Kudrow's production company, Is or Isn't Entertainment, in which she's partners with actor-writer Dan Bucatinsky ("The Opposite of Sex," "All Over the Guy"). The duo's first producing project was the ABC Family movie "Picking Up and Dropping Off," which debuted Sunday (Dec. 7).

Kudrow is also part of the cast for the feature film "Happy Endings," due sometime next year from "Opposite of Sex" director Don Roos.
