Sunday (Jan. 5) night's season premiere of HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" will launch two storylines that will play out over the next three months. In one, Mel Brooks (playing himself) will see Larry (Larry David) perform at a karaoke bar and for reasons known only to himself offer him the lead in the Broadway hit "The Producers."
This means will that the Los Angeles-based comedy will take a trip to Manhattan and eagle-eyed fans should be on the lookout for a Jerry Seinfeld cameo.
David co-created the comedian's popular '90s NBC sitcom and Seinfeld's walk-on role spontaneously happened when he dropped by the set to visit one day.
"Curb Your Enthusiasm" premieres Sunday, Jan. 5 at 9:30 p.m. ET on HBO.

going great so far. Ben Stiller as a cast member this season is a plus....he definately suits the show. Only because he's actually playing "Ben Stiller" and not some charcter doing the "Ben Stiller" schtick. There's something about that that makes it that much more funnier
