Favorite One-Hit-Wonder Songs from the 90s

1. Spin Doctors - Two Princess
I wonder where they are now?
2. Ugly Kid Joe - (I Hate) Everything About You
They had a follow up hit with Cats In The Cradle though.
3. Sophie B. Hawkins - Damn, I Wish I Was Your Lover
Took me awhile to figure out she was singing about a chick. Ah well.
4. St. Paul - Stranger To Love
He released several albums in the late 80s and early 90s. This was his only song to reach the top 40.
5. 4 Non Blondes - What's Going On
Linda Perry was weird ... Catchy tune though.

I dig cheezy.

1. Chumbawamba-"tub thumping"
It's catchy, sue me.

2. Haddaway-"What is Love"
Bob my head every time

3. Eiffel 65-"Blue da ba dee"
again...it's catchy

4. Seal-"Kiss from A Rose"
I know he did the Song "crazy" also....but it's a Batman thing

5. House of Pain-"Jump Around"
Bostonian Irish guys rapping.

Didn't "Blue" come out in 2000?
And didn't Sophie had a hit with that "As I lay me down to sleep"?

Actually many of the most memorable ones for me are cheesy/sleazy rap tunes...

D.J. Kool - Let Me Clear My Throat
Quality sax riff

House Of Pain - Jump Around
Classic

K7 - Come Baby Come
Just for the lyrics in the style of; Well, I can hear the (ring ring ring),
The telephone goes ring (hello, hello),
But we're still gettin' busy,
(Pom pom pom, hoo!),
Now you're gettin' busy,
I can slow it down so you can bomb it (bomb it),
Better move it fast so you can pump it (pump it),
Two balls and a bat (hoo), a pitcher with a hat (ha),
Slidin' into home base, tryin' to hit a home run,
Swing batta batta batta batta batta swing!"

Sir Mixalot - Put 'Em On The Glass
Best.Video.Ever.

Even if it's the same beat to "another one bites the dust"?
