Um ... ABBA: The Definitive Collection and stuff

Ok ... it's one thing listening to ABBA but another thing watching all their videos ... which I did

Never was a big fan, bought this compilation for shits & giggles since it was cheap and nothing else better available at that time.

Some of the videos (35) will most definitely make ya cringe big time but some are actually fun to look at.
Except for those two guys, Benny & Björn? Man did they suck. Both do a really bad job adding lip and their constantly smiling faces makes ya wanna puke.

The DVD is region free and all clips are presented in full screen (except for Eagle which looks like it was shot in 1.66:1 widescreen).
They cleaned them up pretty good and look awesome, no specks, dirt or whatever. Sound is 2.0 stereo and delivers.

Video/Tracklisting:

1. Waterloo
2. Ring Ring
3. Mamma Mia
4. SOS
5. Bang-A-Boomerang
6. I do, I do, I do, I do, I do
7. Fernando
8. Dancing Queen
9. Money, Money, Money
10. Knowing You, Knowing Me
11. That's Me
12. The Name Of The Game
13. Take A Chance On Me
14. Eagle
15. One Man, One Woman
16. Thank You For The Music
17. Summer Night City
18. Chiquitita
19. Does Your Mother Know
20. Voulez-Vouz
21. Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!
22. On And On And On
23. The Winner Takes It All
24. Super Trouper
25. Happy New Year
26. When All Is Said And Done
27. One Of Us
28. Head Over Heels
29. The Day Before You Came
30. Under Attack

Bonus Videos

31. When I Kissed The Teacher
32. Estoy Sonando (I Have A Dream)
33. Felicidad (Happy New Year)
34. No Hay A Quien Culpar (When All Is Said And Done)
35. Dancing Queen (at the Royal Swedish Opera)

I think all their videos were filmed in Sweden, a few directed by Lasse Hallström (What's Eating Gilbert Grape?).
Tolerable are Knowing Me, Knowing You. Good pop song and a not so bad video. Also enjoyed the funky Summer Night City.
Kinda liked The Day Before You Came, the video - not the song. The blond chick does a little acting and has a sizzling sex scene
Oh yeah, loved those costumes they wear in Ring Ring, looks like rejected superhero outfits

That said, what are your favorite ABBA tunes?

Oh man I love ABBA. I have the greatest hits ABBA Gold. I listen to it way too often to admit. There's nothing better than some ABBA to clean house to.

My faves are:

Waterloo
Does Your Mother Know
Mamma Mia
SOS
Take A Chance On Me
and
Dancing Queen

Gotta admit... I do not hate Abba.

Sort like my love of Ace of Base.
