Fragging other Vista players was supposed to happen on May 8th (yesterday), but instead it will be pushed back to May 22nd. The reason for the slight delay? Well, we all know in the world of next-gen gaming (even for previous gen remakes) there’s tons of technical and graphical issues to deal with. But thankfully, MGS is ensuring that all the kinks are worked out before the game hits retail shelves.

According to the official press release, “...we recently adjusted our May 8th ship date for Halo 2 for Windows Vista to make some improvements to the install experience and address other technical issues.”

Hope those technical issues don’t result in getting jammed in a corner while trying to return the flag to your base. If they do, that’ll make for great coverage. Anyway, the game is one of the first Games for Windows Live and if you honestly, in all reality didn’t catch what the release date was for Halo 2 Vista, it’s May 22nd.
