A new update is inbound for War of the Roses and that's reiterated quite strongly in a new trailer showcasing the new map and content. The content itself is called “Winter has Arrived” and will be available beginning December 19th. There will be two new holiday-inspired weapons based on real-world sword and dagger designs and two brand new maps called Waketown and Towton.
War of the Roses debuted with a lot of fanfare mostly because it was directly compared to the other medieval PVP game, Chivalry. Both games have garnered their own devout fan clubs and established a nice niche audience in the medieval warfare sub-genre.
