Edge Of Space, Guncraft, Sanctum 2 Will Be At PAX East 2013

Reverb Publishing will be unleashing additional details and showcasing more of their line-up at the upcoming PAX East at the end of March. The games will be on display courtesy of their respective developers, enabling gamers and press alike to get a lot of interactive loving from sequels and new IP coming out of Reverb's publishing house.

The games in the line-up include Beatbuddy, which is a rhythm, action-music game for PC and home consoles. Threaks even went as far as to create their own patent-pending sound technology for the 2D side-scroller featuring hand-painted environments.

Guncraft is the Kickstarted game that mirrors the likes of Ace of Spades and Minecraft while tossing in a bit of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Gamers will be able to build, craft and shoot their way to victory in this mixed-genre multiplayer title.

Sanctum 2 is the follow-up to the first-person, strategy, tower-defense title from Coffee Stain Studios. Reverb will be bringing the sequel to the Xbox 360 and PS3 this time around, giving gamers a mad mix of FPS skill meets tower-defense enforcement. My only gripe with the first game was that the FPS mechanics were a little hollow, but it was otherwise a fairly solid experience. If they can tweak up the shooting parts of the gameplay then I think they might have a winner on their hands.

The final game to be showcased at PAX East this month is one of my all-time favorites, Edge of Space. This crowd-funded, Terraria meets Borderlands masterpiece opens up a lot of exploration in the side-scrolling, multiplayer, terraforming RPG crafting genre...assuming that is a genre. The game is constantly evolving and should be exiting beta soon. Of course, you can purchase Edge of Space now from Desura while it's available for only $9.99. Alternatively, they could use some serious promotional help on the Steam Greenlight page so that the game can eventually become available on Steam's store.

PAX East is scheduled to take place between March 22nd and March 28th. You can learn more about Reverb Publishing's indie-game line-up by visiting their official website.
