Unearthed Vs Uncharted 3: Which One Should You Buy?

Unearthed: The Trail of Ibn Battuta has recently launched on Steam for $5. If you also have a PS3, you can pick up Uncharted 3 used for about $5. If you only have $5 to spare, you're probably torn on which game you should buy.

Thankfully, the game community – in all its infinite wisdom – decided to help gamers out who are probably stuck in an infinite loop cycle on which game they should buy: an award winning blockbuster, or a small indie title from a new group of developers trying to emulate (imitate?) the award-winning blockbuster title. Well, don't worry about it because YouTube user ElAnalistaDebits has offered a visual helping hand. Just check out the video below.

The video helped a lot of gamers make up their undecided and indecisive minds about which game was worth the price of admission to own (or digitally lease, in the case of Steam).

Some gamers, however, want to thoroughly support pro-Muslim games and games that encourage women to stay covered up from head-to-toe, even in their digital incarnations. It's like an extremist version of the same people who felt the Sorceress from Dragon's Crown should have had her titties all covered up. Because you know, some people don't like it when titties are flopping around and stuff.

Others, however, felt Unearthed was a blatant attack on Christians, since the women aren't half-naked and wearing shorts so short that it makes thong bikinis look modest.

Others, even still, feel the game is more of a religious attack on GOTYs, and that a game shouldn't be allowed to desecrate a genre based on an award-winning franchise that's actually liked by both men and women.

Of course, self-publisher Semaphore and publisher Semanoor decided to make the buying decision a bit easier: they launched the game at a 20% discount so now it's actually about a $1.86 cheaper than a used copy of Uncharted 3.

You have to admit, that at only $3.99, no reason for people to complain about the female protagonist being too exposed, a fighting system that looks like it was motion-captured by two dude-bros who got caught on camera after a drunken frat night, and a shooting system that looks like it was ripped right out of the PSX version of Syphon Filter, you can't really go wrong with Unearthed.

Also, that aiming system for the weapon mechanics is completely unrivaled... I don't think I've ever seen a game with an aiming system like that before.

If Unearthed: Trail of Ibn Battuta has caught your fancy and you want to support more games from the middle-east, you can do so by paying a visit to the official Steam store page. The game also released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 earlier in 2013.

For those of you who have yet to play Uncharted 3, which game looks like it would be more fun to play? Come on... be honest.
