Superhot Could Come To Wii U, Xbox One, PS4

Now here's some sexy news that is bound to brighten up the day for Xbox fans who ended up with the dour news about the Xbox One falling short in the performance analysis of Watch Dogs like Jeff Gordon coming up short in the Coca-Cola 600: no one rewards good effort, only winners.

Anyway, Nintendo Enthusiast recovers the low spirits by reporting that Superhot, the Kickstarted first-person shooter where time only moves when you move, could be coming to the eighth gen home consoles; yep, that includes the one console that struggles to hit 792p like NBC struggles to keep ratings up... then again, you would actually need a good show on the station to get ratings in the first place.

As for Superhot, the game took the gaming community by storm last summer with a crazy trailer that had everyone beading sweat from anticipation like Bobby Brown beads sweat during interviews after a bit of recreational nose exercises. Check it out below.

In a Q&A update on their Kickstarter page, the developers, known as Superhot Team, made the following revelation of a tactile console port...

Well that's some pretty slick news right there. This game may not be a revolutionary concept that defies the traditions of the first-person shooter, but it does delve itself into enough of the fizzled territory of originality that I would venture to say that many console gamers might actually be refreshed with an air of excitement to get their hands on it, even if it's only 792p and 30 frames per second on the Xbox One.

I would also imagine that this game could bring some really interesting elements to the table for the Wii U, with map layouts or multiple views being made available via the GamePad. The possibilities are numerous and the potentiality ripe for the picking.

That's not to mention that we could definitely due for some new ideas to flesh out the first-person shooter genre, I mean out of all the AAA titles set to drop this fall one of them is a combination of a bunch of other popular games and the other one's claim to fame will be the inclusion of a Hollywood actor who has been relegated to a show that isn't even on network or cable television.

Anyway, Superhot managed to surpass its goal by a sizable margin, and the game promises some interesting things in new ways when it launches next year.
