You know, the first 50 Cent game was crap. It didn’t take a genius to know that the game was crap, either. However, I’ll be honest with you all…I kind of want to play the sequel. The shooting looks sleek and the cover system has been improved. Added to this the counter-kills are really cool. A new commentary video shows off these features so you can see just how improved this game is.

Originally there were rumors going around that the game was canceled and THQ had moved on. Those rumors, of course, were false. Now the game is scheduled to land on store shelves February 24th for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Based on what’s shown in the following trailer I’m not sure why the game would be rumored for cancellation when some of the features are actually kind of cool. The counter-kill system is especially fluid looking and mimics the fighting from recent 007 games (and that’s a good thing).
