With the second week of October in full swing, it was a bit of a controversial week of news in the world of interactive gaming. Things got heated between Gearbox Interactive’s President Randy Pitchford and Valve’s indomitable Steam-powered digital distribution service, with claims of “dangerous” and “too much power” coming into the conversation. This further escalated when Steam’s arch-rival came into the picture, GamersGate, and the CEO further gave the company a textual pummeling.
