Sony has announced that three new titles will be joining the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection come Tuesday, June 7. What’s that you say? The Plus schedule for June has already been announced? Well, now it’s been enhanced, sucka. Get ready for Uncharted 3, XCOM: Enemy Unknown and LittleBigPlanet Karting.
Continuing the “Play, Create, Share” tradition, LittleBigPlanet Karting hits U.S. stores today, offering the karting creativity of United Front Games’ previous effort, ModNation Racers, with the adorable charm of the LBP franchise. Having LittleBigPlanet in the titles should be a dead giveaway that Sony’s latest racing game is all about being creative.
Halloween is in full swing in the non-flooded parts of the world today. LittleBigPlanet Karting isn't in stores yet but as a new gameplay trailer proves, the racing game is more than capable of celebrating the holiday.
When you think of kart racing games, you probably don't think of tightly-written narratives. LittleBigPlanet Karting doesn't profess to have an epic story but nonetheless it will have a story. The Hoard, who look like scruffier versions of SackBoys, are stealing the various parts of Craftworld. SackBoy steals one of their karts and sets off after them, eager to stop their invasion.

LittleBigPlanet Karting is approaching the development finish line and, with a little over a month until its Nov. 6 release date for the PlayStation 3, the folks at Sony and United Front Games decided to show off a brand new trailer during this weekend's Tokyo Game Show to keep the hype rolling.
Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines! Now leave them idling for a few months, because that's when LittleBigPlanet Karting will finally be released for the PlayStation 3.
The LittleBigPlanet Karting development team is heading to PAX Prime this year and, in true LBP form, they want a community member to design their swag. This t-shirt design contest runs through Aug. 9, so you're going to need to get creative with a quickness. Full details following the jump.
