Man, we haven't had any gritty graphic-novel style action titles like Max Payne since... well, Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. There have been Sin City style games like Mad World and comic-book inspired games like No More Heroes, but we haven't had something quite like the noir themes of Max Payne until now.
Six more games have been greenlit for Steam's store, the handful-and-one-finger set of games includes the pixelated female rendition of Max Payne called Bleed, complete with a rocking purple hairdo. The extremely controversial Game Dev Tycoon has been greenlit, along with Legends of Eisenwald.
If you really like Max Payne but wish there were more games like it, then you'll probably get a real gut-check kick out of a new title from indie developer Bootdisk Revolution. The name of the game? Bleed. It's a fun-loving side-scroller that's all about bullet-ballet and utilizing bullet-time to unleash a firestorm of lead into suspecting and unsuspecting foes in equal measure.

Rockstar announced today that third-person shooters Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne are now part of the Xbox Originals library. The move would've been a little more unexpected had the ESRB not rated both games for the Xbox 360 last month.
