Namco Bandai announced that Ace Combat: Joint Assault is currently available for the PSP and will be arriving for the PSP Go starting September 7th. You can grab your copy of the game, which comes complete with 40 aerial-combat-ready planes and real-world locations, ranging from Tokyo, Japan to London, England.

As stated in the press release…

ACE COMBAT JOINT ASSAULT includes intense eight-player adversarial matches across a variety of locations. Strategic planning and steady aim will be paramount to your victory as advanced aircraft scream through the sky with only one objective in mind - taking you out of it.

Well I could be wrong but it seems like we seem to get a new Ace Combat game whether portable or for the main consoles every quarter. Then again, Namco seems to enjoy holding on to licenses that allow them to churn out sequels, prequels, spin-offs and add-ons frequently…like Dragon Ball Z and Naruto.
