Strange as it may be, Activision has proudly announced that if Modern Warfare 2’s active users formed an army it would be larger than all the world's biggest armies combined. It was announced that the game is not only the fastest selling and highest grossing form of entertainment property within a five-day period in the history of entertainment sales, but Modern Warfare 2 also boasts having more active users than any single (or combined) army in the entire world.

Activision is so proud of this fact that they even released a chart showcasing just how the world’s largest armies compare to the eight-million users dedicated to the Modern Warfare “army”. It’s a bit scary but Activision could brainwash gamers and literally overthrow the world with an army that large.
