Activision Files Trademark For Drum Hero

As if the world didn’t have enough music games, Activision has recently filed a trademark for Drum Hero.

The trademark was filed during the Halloween weekend, October 30th to be exact. According to the application, the Drum Hero may be used for "Toys, hand-held games with liquid crystal displays, musical toys; action figures and accessories therefor; arcade games; coin-operated video games; electric action toys; handheld unit for playing electronic video games; electronic toy drums."

Now this doesn’t mean that Activision is hard at work on a percussion-only game, but rather the trademark could be used to protect any titles in development and their related merchandise.
