New demo for Afro Samurai has just hit the digital air waves. Published by Surge and distributed by Namco Bandai, Afro Samurai is a classic tale of revenge with a hip-hop twist. The game is currently available, but if you’re skeptical of purchasing it you can always give the demo a try.

Featuring the voice-work of Samuel L. Jackson (who also happens to be the Executive Producer) and Lucy Lee, Afro Samurai tells a tale of vengeance, love and retribution. An exclusive soundtrack was also put together by the RZA, featuring funky beats and gritty hip-hop tunes.

The demo is free-to-play, so you don’t have to worry about laying down any cash at the PlayStation Store or any points at the Marketplace. Gamers can experience some brief interactive gameplay of this flashy, samurai story that’s filled from sheath to sandal with blood and style.
