All-Pro Football 2K8 Now Available For Xbox 360 And PS3

Madden will have a little competition this year. While EA may have secured the exclusive rights to the NFL properties, 2K Sports has initiated their own means of giving gamers an alternative to interactive pro-football: All-Pro Football 2K8. This game features 240 of the greatest football legends to-date, and enough customization features to keep any football fan busy for quite a while.
“All-Pro Football 2K8 is the result of hard work and ground-breaking design from our Visual Concepts football team,” said Greg Thomas, President of Visual Concepts, a 2K Sports studio. “We believe we’re giving something important to all sports gamers – the 2K Sports brand of realistic and innovative football, the first football game to exclusively feature the greatest football players of all time, and most of all, a choice for gamers in the simulation football genre. I’m very excited about the release of All-Pro Football 2K8 for sports gamers everywhere and especially for our long time fans that have faithfully supported us over the years.” The game boasts some pretty sweet features, including the ability to edit teams and create players. Logo designs, jersey colors, team names and a host of other features are available for putting together your perfect all-star team. What’s more is that the legends in this game will have special attributes in relation to their on-field qualities, which will make for some interesting match-ups during the game. Once you’re done thumbing around with the customization features and single-player modes, it’s time to take the competition on-line. All-Pro lets you use custom teams and players in online competitions, to determine who’s the best all-pro players of all time. That’s kind of cool, eh? In addition to all of this, a music card will be present in all versions of the game, which will enable you to download a remixed verison of the All-Pro Football 2K8 theme song. All-Pro Football 2K8 carries the suggested retail price of $59.99 and is currently available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
