Alone In The Dark: Inferno Demo Burns Up PS3 On PSNAuthor: William Usher

Alone in the Dark: Inferno is not literally burning up PlayStation 3 units when downloaded from PSN. Fanboys have a way of distorting this kind of news. Anyway, the PlayStation Network is now the proud parent of the Alone in the Dark: Inferno demo. Atari recently released the news, in hopes of getting PS3 owners stoked for the game’s upcoming release.
According to the press release...”Responding to the feedback of media and gamers, the development team has turned up the heat to deliver an even more entertaining, immersive and action-packed blockbuster experience with a host of sizzling gameplay enhancements, red-hot content and an even more hellish storyline which has inspired the name Alone in the Dark: Inferno.” In translation, this means that they didn’t think the game, as a standard port, would be enough to shift units on the PS3. Otherwise it would have come out with the Xbox 360 version an entire fiscal quarter ago. But no worries, the game’s bugs and glitches have been fixed. The demands of the gamers have been heard, and parts of the voice-acting have been rectified of their camp-factor. The demo of Alone in the Dark: Inferno is currently available (in case you didn’t know), features several playable scenarios from two chapters, as well as a section from the ending cinematic. The full game will be available for the PlayStation 3 on November 19th.
