One of the biggest things Obsidian seems to have a problem with is convincing the gaming world that Alpha Protocol is actually an RPG. Well, the efforts of compelling gamers that Alpha Protocol will be as good an action game as it will be an RPG continues with a brand new trailer detailing some of the toys and tools of the trade.

For whatever reason a lot of gamers (or maybe Sega?) just don’t seem convinced that Alpha Protocol is a modern day Mass Effect. Well, it certainly lacks the style and panache of BioWare’s space opera but it still contains the core elements of customization and NPC interaction that makes it similar, in effect. Anyway, Obsidian spends their time in the following video trying to convey the importance of the RPG-elements housed within Alpha Protocol.
