Gametap is set to present some Grimm tales next spring. For now, they’d like to wish you a Happy Halloween. Which is very nice of them, and it makes all the Butterfingers I’ve downed at the office seem like perhaps overkill on candy. This is really the only time of year it’s acceptable to eat your weight in candy, and it also sets off a wondrous season of eating.
Lead buried six feet under, let’s move on. American McGee’s Grimm will begin its 24 episode run starting spring of 2008. The series will be a reimagining of the Brothers Grimm fairytales. I’m not sure how intrigued you are by the game, but Gametap has some great episodic content going on. And if the creator of Alice has a new project, I’m at least intrigued.
The game will transpire like the stories of a Grimm anthology, where you’ll interact and explore with classic characters such as Rumplestiltskin and Cinderella. Players can expect the episodic content to follow a similar formula to television programming. At times an episode will end on a cliff hanger note. American commented that the episodic content is the perfect way to tell the stories, which naturally have chapters and breaks.
Take a look at the images below to see what Grimm is all about. In the meantime, enjoy your pile of sweets and candy treats.
