Electronic Arts is bringing back American McGee’s dangerously dark masterpiece, Alice. The game will put players back into the role of Alice, and all new visionary perils will await. So what else was revealed about this upcoming title based on the 2000 classic? Keep reading to find out.

“This new project is a dream come true for me and the fans who’ve kept the Alice flame alive,” said American McGee, senior creative director at Spicy Horse. “EA gave us creative latitude and support on the original game which resulted in something beautiful and daring. This trip through the looking glass promises to be even more exciting.”

McGee’s comment about “creative latitude” makes it seem like they were allowed only certain freedoms with their own property. Regardless, the game is due out for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 at an undisclosed time. EA is hoping that the title will be even darker and more engaging than the original game.
