To keep us all properly excited for Army of Two: The 40th Day's release early next year, EA Montreal has released the introductory movie to the game. No, there isn't a single "Salem and Rios are gay" joke to be had in it.

In fact, we only see the game's protagonists for a brief second or two. The movie is from the perspective of some other dude walking around with a camcorder. He's just recording footage of the beautiful city of Shanghai. His trip takes an unexpected turn, though, when the city is suddenly attacked.

The game debuts in Europe on January 8th. It arrives in North America on the 12th.
