Assassin's Creed 4 Behind-The-Scenes Video Shows Poster Creation
Ubisoft tapped comic book artist Todd McFarlane to create a poster for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. A new behind-the-scenes video from the company shows McFarlane drawing the pre-order exclusive art.
The poster was the first evidence of AC4's existence. It shows Edward Kenway fighting on the deck of a pirate ship. He's stabbing one sea dog and firing his pistol at another.
Edward Kenway, grandfather of Assassin's Creed 3 hero Connor, is the hero of AC4. Players follow him on his journey through the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy. A map of the Caribbean is on the back of the poster.
The poster will be offered to gamers who pre-order through GameStop. The retailer is also offering a DLC pack called the Black Island. Black Island provides players with a new treasure hunt. Players will attempt to recover Captain Morgan's lost riches from his shipwreck. This DLC also adds new items for single-player and multiplayer.
AC4 will arrive in October on current-gen and next-gen consoles along with the PC. If you're intent on racking up as many exclusive goodies as possible, note that the PS3 and PS4 will get an hour of bonus content.
