At the beginning of the month, Ubisoft announced two downloadable episodes would be released early next year for Assassin's Creed II. Now they've clued us into the content for these new episodes.

In the "Battle of Forli," Ezio teams up with Caterina Sforza and Machiavelli to battle the Orsi brothers. Six new mission will be added, one of which features Leonardo da Vinci's crazy flying device. It's due in late January and will cost $3.99.

"Bonfire of the Vanities" opens up a previously closed segment of Florence. Ezio battles the monk Savonarola and his goons over ten missions. He'll acquire a new spring-jump move in the process, too. Being a larger piece of content than "Forli," "Vanities" will cost slightly more ($4.99). Its release is expected in late February.

Even if you're a conscientious objector when it comes to downloadable content, you really should consider picking up the base game. I for one enjoyed the hell out of it.
