Ubisoft released yet another developer documentary for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed II. It features a look at the progressive elements in the game, which mainly consists of Ezio and the 30 or so years that players will experience in the game.

It’s rare for an action game to send players on a journey that spans outside the likes of a week or two, and even rarer that players get to see character evolution through many years of in-game play. In this particular case, gamers will literally experience a lifetime in the shoes of Ezio, as it develops from a lowly nobody to a high-class assassin.

To ensure that gamers aren’t just thrown into the game with little or nothing to uncover, Assassin’s Creed II will more-so work like an RPG, with new weapons, changeable armor and skills to unlock. Everything everyone loved about the original will return, but everything everyone hated about the original will be altered. From this standpoint it looks like a win-win situation.
