In his quest for vengeance, Assassin's Creed II hero Ezio won't need to go it alone. The newest trailer demonstrates how the game's factions can assist his quest.

Courtesans, mercenaries, and thieves are types of folks Ezio is seen associating with, here. Courtesans can distract guards and allow Ezio to pass by unnoticed. Later in the trailer Ezio fights alongside a band of mercenaries in the countryside and sneaks along the rooftops with a group of thieves. It's tough to know the exact gameplay implementation but it seems like he's actually issuing orders.

Assassin's Creed II will be released on November 17th for the PS3 and Xbox 360. PC version's due in the beginning of 2010.
