Assassin's Creed Won't Get Trophies

Trophy whores, Altair is not your friend. Though some of you have been pestering Ubisoft to go back and add Trophies to Assassin's Creed, they're not going to do it. You'll have to seek virtual ass-patting elsewhere.
"No we won't add trophies in Assassin's Creed PS3 but there will be in Assassin's Creed 2 for sure," twittered Ubisoft early this morning. Say what you will about Twitter, but it can be a good way to get direct answers from companies. Why will Assassin's Creed 2 get Trophies while the original didn't? Well, Trophy support is now mandatory. That'll do it.
