"No we won't add trophies in Assassin's Creed PS3 but there will be in Assassin's Creed 2 for sure," twittered Ubisoft early this morning. Say what you will about Twitter, but it can be a good way to get direct answers from companies.

Why will Assassin's Creed 2 get Trophies while the original didn't? Well, Trophy support is now mandatory. That'll do it.
