Indie puzzle racer Audiosurf is getting a discount this weekend on Steam. It's only five bucks instead of the usual ten until Sunday.
In Audiosurf, you use your own music files to create tracks to race. The shape and speed of the tracks are determined by what music you select. You can use a wide range of audio files with the game: MP3s, iTunes M4As, WMAs, CDs and OGGs. The Half-Life 2: Orange Box soundtrack, including Portal credits song "Still Alive", is bundled with the game.
The discount marks the release of the game's latest update, which adds support for a community stats website that allows you to compete with the world for audio-surfin' supremacy. The full list of changes in the patch are here.
