Talk about a near waste of time. The new Milked Hero, oops, I mean Band Hero trailer reveals little more than just a few songs that will appear in the game. No gameplay is on display in the trailer, and the instruments are visually muted with the karaoke overtones of Lily Allen’s “Take what you take”.

Due out this fall for major gaming platforms, Band Hero is the latest in the drying-up genre of music games. Nevertheless, you have to give Activision props for siphoning as much cash out of the franchise as corporately possible.

Anyway, the video trailer is just a simple viral trailer for promoting the not-good-for-little-kids music artist Lily Allen and pre-orders for Band Hero. Even though, wouldn’t it have made more sense if Band Hero only had band songs?
