Eidos Interactive and Warner Bros. may have delayed Batman Arkham Asylum so that Rocksteady Studios could brush up the game before release, but that doesn’t mean Batman has lost any momentum amongst gamers, leading up to the big due-date. In fact, the game has probably gained more traction now more than ever and Eidos is taking advantage of this minor setback to further promote the game with a new villains trailer.

Considering that the trailer is completely awesome all on its own and really didn’t need any further assets to accompany it, we thought we might overkill gamer’s sense of fandom by throwing in some screenshots to go along with the trailer. Unnecessary but completely welcome.

The villains’ trailer basically shows off a few of the bosses in the game as well as some surprise enemies that will be sure to challenge Batman’s moral conduct. I’ll give you a hint about the new enemies: it involves mutagens and the prison guards.
