Everyone already knew Batman: Arkham Asylum was supposed to be released in 2009 but now that's been narrowed down a bit. According to the latest trailer (which is awesome, by the way), it'll arrive in stores this Summer.

The trailer shares some of the footage of the teaser trailer. Batman brings Joker to Arkham Asylum but apparently Joker wanted to be captured so he could take over the asylum with the assistance of the other inmates. The difference, though, is that with this trailer we get to hear the voice work by Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill, who play the roles of Batman and the Joker respectively (reprising their roles from Batman: The Animated Series).

Even better, there's a bunch of clips of gameplay. Batman puts the hurt on several of the escaped inmates with his karate moves. He also swings around on his grappling hook and does a little flying (okay, gliding) too. Brief shot of an apparent stealth sequence, too. Add to that the pumping cinematic score and you've got a tasty ass trailer.
