WB Games has delivered the full version of the CGI Batman: Arkham Origins trailer teased last week. The trailer pits Batman against another masked man, the assassin Deathstroke.
The trailer opens with three thugs bringing a lockbox into a warehouse. Batman soon takes out the criminals one by one - a nod to the stealth-action segments of the game. The Dark Knight's job isn't finished, though. As it turns out, this whole scenario was just a trap laid by Deathstroke and his employer Black Mask.
Deathstroke is as much the star of the trailer as Batman. That seems appropriate, considering that WB has officially announced the Deathstroke DLC outed by Amazon. Gamers who pre-order Arkham Origins on Xbox 360, PS3 or PC will unlock the assassin for use in all challenge maps. The DLC also includes two new challenge maps and two alternate skins for Deathstroke. The list of participating retailers can be found at the official Origins website.
Arkham Origins will launch worldwide on October 25th.
