Multiplayer is about as important as single-player components in games these days. Eidos recently released another developer diary that details the accounts of implementing a rather robust and large amount of multiplayer options for the upcoming BattleStations: Pacific.
The latest trailer for BS: Pacific is really cool, insofar that there’s a very detailed look at the game’s multiplayer component – said component contains deathmatch battles, skirmish matches and an arcade battle. The game offers up some massive multiplayer battles, and even allows players to designate what areas of a map they plan on using. BattleStations: Pacific, in general, is two times the size of the original BattleStations: Midway. The game contains 28 major battles, the option of playing through two full campaigns from either the Allied Forces or the Imperial Japanese forces, as well as improved unit and tactical command controls. Could you really ask for more out of an RTS of this magnitude? I think not good gamers, I think not. You can check out the trailer below.
