Eidos and Warner Bros. Interactive have recently announced that the World War II, real-time strategy simulator, BattleStations: Pacific, has officially shipped for the Xbox 360 and PC. The game is currently available in North America and will become widely available across Europe on May 15th.

According to the press release, “the immense sequel to the critically acclaimed Battlestations: Midway, Battlestations: Pacific completes the entire Pacific War with two massive single-player campaigns, the historically based US campaign and a historically possible Japanese campaign.

The game features more than 100 authentic World War II vehicles, flying craft and war ships. The game introduces all new multiplayer modes and features, including island capture and team-based battles. BattleStations: Pacific is also being hailed as an RTS that’s twice the size of its predecessor. That’s a pretty darn big game. This includes a total of 28 campaign missions, larger maps and even more detailed damage models and vehicles that can occupy the screen at one time.

BattleStations: Pacific retails for $59.99. You can learn more about it by visiting the Official Website. And be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Games for our upcoming review of the game.
