Eidos has recently released some new screenshots for the epic sea-battling, aerial fighting RTS game, BattleStations: Pacific. The original name of the screenshot set that Eidos released was called “Dual Blast” but I thought the headline would look a lot cooler with “Tropic Thunder”…you know, like when saying…”Tropic Thunda!”

Anyway, the screenshots detail some aerial combat and ships battling out on the sea. They’re some great stills and would make for some darn good backdrops. Unfortunately, they had to be compressed down in resolution for size purposes, so unless you have your resolution set for the chunky-sized 800x600, they might be a little small for your screen, if you decided to use them as wallpapers.

BattleStations: Pacific is due out on May 12th for the PC and Xbox 360. It will feature multiple multiplayer modes, two distinct campaigns (one of which includes the Imperial Japanese forces) and 100 authentic vehicles from the era.
