Xbox 360 and PS3 owners have had their hands on Battlefield 1943 since last summer. It was supposed to be released for the PC in early 2010 but DICE has more pressing concerns right now.

"People ask me about BF1943 PC, when is it coming out?" tweeted Battlefield franchise executive producer Karl-Magnus Troedsson. "Answers is we won't prioritize this until we've stabilized BFBC2 PC. So hang in there!"

Bad Company 2's been experiencing periodic server issues across all versions since its release earlier this month. You can understand why they wouldn't want to quickly release another game and simultaneously deal with two games' launch bugs. Would be nice if some sort of timeline was announced, though.

DICE initially delayed the PC BF1943 so that they'd have more time to develop platform-specific features, like a higher player count and peripheral support.
