What? You want more DLC for Fallout 3? Well, you're lucky that Bethesda gave the gaming world the five episodes of DLC, as it's been revealed that only three episodes were originally planned.

“I think we’ve put enough content out there for this game," Bethesda's Todd Howard told Kotaku.

The three original DLC episodes that were planned were Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, and Broken Steel. Howard provided some detail into why and how three turned into five. “We knew we wanted to do three initially and we’ll see where that goes. I kind of had in my mind that the upper limit was five. Part of that was what I think people are willing to continue to pay for a game. And a lot of that is our own internal bandwidth.”

Mothership Zeta, which came out earlier this month, was the last episode of DLC to be released for the game. The DLC are currently only available only for the PC and Xbox 360 but Bethesda plans to bring the episodes to the PS3 in the coming months.
