Bill Clinton Could've Been President Of The Wasteland There's no arguing that Malcolm McDowell's portrayal of President Eden in Fallout 3 was pretty kick-ass. However, imagine how much cooler it would've been if a former U.S. president had played the role.

Lev Chapelsky, general manager of Blindlight, a firm that secures voice talent for video games, told Edge Online that they attempted to get former president Bill Clinton to play President Eden in the post-apocalyptic RPG. "Wouldn’t that have been brilliant? You get to that point in game and you hear that voice in the ether coming from off-camera and you’re like, ‘I know that guy!’"

Clinton, or rather the underlings who sifts through the countless requests made of him, apparently didn't think it would be brilliant and declined. Chapelsky admits that the chances of getting certain celebrities are slim but it's always worth a shot. "We might get the offer in on a day that they’ve got a wild hare up their ass because they just had great sex the night before and they feel like they’re on top of the world and they want to try something new. We do a lot of that."

Well, Obama seems like more of a gamer than Bill. Maybe someone can get him to voice a space marine after he leaves office.
