The PC version of BioShock 2 will not be receiving the "Minerva's Den" and "Protector Trials" DLC. 2K has shelved plans to port over the new single-player content, which is already available for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

2K's Elizabeth Tobey announced the cancellation of PC DLC on the game's forums. She stated that "timing and technical issues" were the culprit. These same issues are also why vending machine sounds and DLC multiplayer map playlists won't be added into any version of the game.

"Protector Trials" is a collection of six standalone challenges. "Minerva's Den," the last DLC to be released for the game, adds a new campaign.
