A free-to-play epic space simulator with unparalleled visuals and an awesome scope on space exploration is coming this year and it's called Black Prophecy. A new trailer indicates that the game could easily dethrone EVE Online as the king of MMO space sims.

The trailer is quite expansive in showing off some of the game’s in-game action sequences, some of the intense flying and chase sequences through asteroid fields and debris junkets, as well as massive ship-to-ship encounters between hundreds of players. It’s some really awesome stuff that definitely fits the bill as a next-gen MMO.
