Last year we turned heads, rolled eyes and busted open the floodgates of sensationalism with the week long, Haze Hype. Well, it’s that time again to accrue interest in a game that deserves the hype, but isn’t getting any. Sort of like the smart and beautiful girl at school who keeps getting ignored by all the boys because of the hype surrounding the gimcrackly blonde with the double digit I.Q. Well, it’s the exact same way with 2K Games’ Borderlands: a shooter-RPG that offers up more functional gameplay than five standard shooters combined.

Nevertheless, as you all know, we didn’t just pick any game to hype. While Borderlands is a highly respected game, even during this middle-stage of its design, we here at Blend Games offered gamers a choice in the kind of game they wanted to see hyped.
