Today Blizzard Entertainment revealed the exclusive World of Warcraft in-game item that will be received by attendees of this year's BlizzCon. Hint: "Mrglgrglgrgl!"

Yep, it's another murloc pet. Grunty the Murloc Marine is wearing the Terran Space Marine armor (as a nod to the upcoming StarCraft II) and even wields a little gauss rifle "which he’ll occasionally fire into the air to make sure no invisible spacecraft are swooping in to attack." You'll get Grunty whether you attend BlizzCon in-person or order it through DirecTV.

Tickets for BlizzCon 2009 go on sale this weekend. The convention will take place on August 21st and 22nd in Anaheim.
