Blizzard Entertainment announced today that tickets for their annual gaming convention BlizzCon will go on sale on May 16th. In case you get shut out on the 16th, though, you'll have a couple other chances to experience BlizzCon.

A second block of tickets will be sold on May 30th. Tickets will cost $125 on both dates. If you don't get tickets, you'll be able to watch the show on Pay Per View via DIRECTV or streaming online for $40. The broadcast provides a minimum of eight hours of coverage from the convention each day and will net you an exclusive World of Warcraft in-game item.

BlizzCon 2009 will take August 21st and 22nd at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. You can get details on the convention's events here.
